Shogoufa Hydari
Shogoufa is a community researcher working with the Afghan community. Shogoufa is a registered midwife and has worked in various community organisations.
Shogoufa joined the Refugee and Migrant Health Research Program in 2017. She has contributed to many projects in this time, including Group Pregnancy Care, Listening to What Matters, Talking About Stillbirth, ECLIPSE, and currently the Working Together project.
Shogoufa's vision for the CRE is to improve health outcomes for migrant and refugee Background women by making research findings and policy changes more accessible for the communities we work with.
Shogoufa lives and works on Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri country. The love from her family, especially her two children, keeps her strong and resilient.
