Mikel Moss
As a CRE Scholar, Mikel's research focuses on the development of dramatherapeutic techniques and researching the best practices for healing and care with people in the African Diaspora. He has developed a new drama therapy approach utilizing Sanford Meisner's repetition exercise focusing specifically on people in the African diaspora.
Mikel hopes to be a part of bringing more diverse perspectives in healing to the already diverse community of researchers, practitioners, and industry partners at CRE.
Mikel brings his many years of advocacy, inquiry, development, and respect, as the foundation of his work experiences. He also brings a variety of experiences that sit at the intersections of psychology, creative arts therapy, research, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Mikel lives and works on the Wurundjeri and the Bunurong lands of the Kulin Nation. His connection to the arts, his culture and history keep Mikel strong and resilient.
