Anna Price

Anna is the Child Health Equity Scholar at the Centre for Community Child Health, Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Her work seeks to understand how the social determinants of health affect children's opportunities during the first years of life.

Through partnership with health services (predominately child and family health), Anna's research seeks to promote healthy social conditions that underlie equitable development. Her research methods include large community-based randomised controlled trials, and analysis of longitudinal and repeated cross-sectional data. It is a privilege to join the CRE as a scholar.

Anna hopes that the CRE will contribute to the complex, systemic change necessary to provide all children and families with equal opportunities for health, happiness and wellbeing. She brings to the CRE curiosity, an interest in complexity, experience with rigorous evaluation, enthusiasm and openness for collaborating with others who are working to promote child health and developmental equity.

Anna lives and works from home on Boon Wurrung Country, and work on Campus on Wurundjeri Country.

Optimism for change, connection, reflection, dancing and moving, being with people she loves, being outside and feeling the sun keep Anna strong and resilient.
