Alice Rumbold

Associate Professor Alice Rumbold is a Principal Research Fellow at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. For over a decade she has undertaken research collaboratively with Aboriginal health services and community members in South Australia and the Northern Territory, with a focus on improving maternal and reproductive health.

My hope is that by providing the opportunity to consolidate and share our learnings across all of our work with very diverse communities, the CRE will help lead to sustained positive change for families and communities.

Alice is currently the Deputy Chair of the Aboriginal Communities and Family Health Research Alliance (ACRA) in South Australia, a network of health and social care providers supporting Aboriginal families across South Australia. The ACRA is supporting several projects in the Stronger Futures CRE.

Alice lives, works and is raising her children on Kaurna land.

Being in nature, connecting with family and friends and seeing her children grow keeps Alice strong.
